Saikon Contractors Pte Ltd (UEN 202520197H) respects your privacy and handles personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This page explains what we collect, why, and what choices you have.

What personal data we collect

We are a small electrical contracting business. We do not run a checkout, account system, or contact form on this website. Almost everything we know about you comes directly from a conversation you start with us, typically over WhatsApp or email. That may include:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• Your property address and unit number, for site visits and quotes
• Photos of your electrical installation that you send us for a quote
• Details of the work requested, and correspondence about scheduling, pricing and payment

How we use it

We use your information to prepare quotes, schedule and carry out work, issue invoices and receipts, provide the workmanship warranty, and where relevant, produce and retain the certification required for licensed electrical work (such as a Certificate of Compliance). We do not use your data for purposes unrelated to the job you have asked us to do.

Cookies and this website

This website uses analytics cookies to understand how visitors use it, specifically Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These record things like which pages you visit, how you scroll and click, and roughly how you arrived here, so we can see whether the site is actually useful and where people get stuck. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run ad-retargeting scripts, and we do not sell or share this data with marketers.

The site also loads a small number of resources from third-party content delivery networks, specifically Google Fonts, cdnjs and unpkg, so that fonts and page animations render correctly. Requesting those resources means your browser contacts those providers directly, which can expose your IP address to them as an ordinary consequence of loading any web page.

Your browser may also store a small, strictly functional flag on this site so that a notice you have dismissed does not reappear.

You can decline analytics cookies using your browser's cookie or tracking-protection settings; the site will work normally either way.

Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share it only where necessary to deliver or certify your job, for example with the Licensed Electrical Worker responsible for testing and sign-off, or with regulatory bodies such as EMA or HDB where a permit or certification process requires it. We do not share your data with marketers.

How long we keep it

We keep job records, quotes and certification documents for as long as reasonably necessary to support your workmanship warranty, to meet our own legal and accounting obligations, and to have a record available if you need it again later, such as during a property sale. If you would like us to delete data we hold about you sooner, contact us and we will do so unless we are required to keep it by law.

Your rights

Under the PDPA, you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and withdraw consent for us to use it, subject to legal or contractual restrictions, for example, records we are required to keep for certification purposes.
